Short description:
This program is a perfect solution for the boss to view and monitor network
users' screens. Thoroughly optimized for speed, and requires minimal or almost
no resources because unlike VNC it can be configured to transfer user's screen
image in any specified time span. It's a best alternative for VNC and very easy
to use.
Newer version 1.2 is available. New functionality includes saving screens in
various formats: gif, jpeg. This allows you to save disk space, sometimes the
compression is 20 times less than the original size.
Requirenments:
Microsoft .net Framework 2.0 is required to be installed on boss and
user machines. You can download it

Installation instructions:
Download Client & Server programs and extract
on users' machines. Server program is
installed only on boss' machine.
Run Client.exe and Server.exe on appropriate machines. Set desired directory with
Browse... button, and Install. It will unpack the program in the specified
directory.
How to use.
If you installed manually:
Run in a desired sequence:
On boss machine: BossControlServerHost.exe.
UI Controls:

Browse: sets the backup directory where saved screenshots will be placed.

View: opens Windows' default image viewer to show the chosen screen image.

Machine names: list of machines on which the Client.exe is running. When a
machine name is checked, the automatic regime will be applied to it.

For aumatic regime: Time interval sets time in HH:MM for how frequently
BossControl will store screen images, Start time and Finish time - self
explained.

Start autosave - starts the automatic regime. Stop autosave - stops it before
the Finish time.

View remote monitor: displays what is currently shown on selected in Machine.
On user's machine:
Open BossControlClient.exe.config with any text editor and change in the 6th
line "Localhost" to boss' machine name as it appears in network list.
